My car was towed by the Police Department, how do I get my car back?
To get your car out of impound, the registered owner must come to the Sapulpa Police Department with proof of ownership. This can be done by providing the title and registration or at least 2 other forms of ownership, such as DMV teletype, notarized bill of sale, insurance verification, etc. Valid proof of insurance must also be provided at the time of the vehicles release, and someone with a valid driver’s license. Once these steps have been completed you will be given a release form and you will present it to the wrecker service and pay the tow costs.
