PARK AND RECREATION OPERATOR
Perform skills in carpentry, plumbing, asphalt, masonry,
mowing, etc in order to maintain, construct and/or repair various facilities and
equipment. To assist in the
construction of new as well as remodeling existing facilities.
Assist with planting and/or removal of trees, plants and shrubs, spreading chemicals such as fertilizer, etc.
Assist in setting up for events in the various Park facilities, assisting the users of the facilities as needed.
Must be able to lift
a minimum of 55 pounds, must be able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather
conditions.
Must be able to
withstand extended periods of standing, digging, bending, lifting, kneeling,
climbing and stooping. Must be able
to withstand the jolting and vibration of heavy equipment and to do heavy manual
labor.
