This is one of the most scenic parks in the city with a total of 69 acres (38 developed acres, and 31 undeveloped). It contains a beautiful Arboretum, Deep Wetlands and Outdoor Nature Classroom with many other scenic amenities listed below. 25 acres bordered on the north & east by Rock Creek.
The Park Department’s Recreation Trails and Urban Wetlands Project won the 1997 State of Oklahoma Award of Excellence for outstanding facility project.
Recent improvements in Kelly Lane Park, which were completed this summer made possible by a $50,000 Grant from the Edward E. and Helen T. Bartlett Foundation, was the construction of a beautiful new waterfalls feature, located just south of the pedestrian bridge at the wetlands area.
Upcoming improvements made possible by a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant, include
playground renovations, and the construction of a new
outdoor fitness system.
